LGAI Technological Center S.A., integrated in the Applus+ Group in the Laboratories Division, is the Technological reference of the group for the industrial sector specialised in developing technical solutions to enhance product competitiveness and foster innovation. As a world global leader in testing, inspection and certification, quality and customer recognition have been Applus motto for its development, also in the Aerospace sector. Our material test engineers have long experience designing and developing any special test procedure from testing, inspection and data analysis taking into account environmental, production process and raw material influences. Our test operators have more than 15 years’ experience testing from composite material for aeronautical structures. Applus Laboratories is able to perform materials characterization on several materials, composites, metallic or polymers. All the mechanical laboratories fulfill the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.

What we do in H2ELIOS project

Applus is in charge of developing material characterization to be used in the design of the tank and in the final validation of the full demonstrator by developing a functional test campaign and test methodology that will prove the capability of the tank to store LH2 safely along the required time.
